PICK 'N' MIX

A bright, tongue-in-cheek tribute to the sweets that lived in paper bags and childhood memory. This series takes classic confectionery — foam shrimp, fried eggs, cola bottles, gummy bears and the rest — and treats them like graphic subjects: simplified shapes, bold lettering, and colour used with the same confidence as old sweet-shop signage.

Across the collection, the palette is intentionally shared — sherbet yellows, jelly reds, pastel mints, chalky whites and retro shop-window oranges repeat from print to print — so they sit together like a set even when the motifs change. They’re designed to mix and match, to build rows and grids, and to feel like one big selection box when grouped.

It’s nostalgia you can hang on a wall.

FOAM SHRIMP FRAME

Foam Shrimp

Straight from retro sweet-counter memory: pink chewy shrimp in all their kitschy pastel glory. The print leans into the playful absurdity of the sweet itself, framing it like a piece of vintage confectionery packaging with bold lettering and a sherbet-toned palette.

Printed in six separate layers of ink, this piece forms part of the Pick ’n’ Mix screen print series. All prints in the collection are produced on 250gsm off-white GF Smith card, giving them a tactile, slightly imperfect finish that comes from the screen-printing process. Each print is signed and numbered and comes with a screen-printed candy bag from the series.
